The Setup
It started innocently on Tiktok and moved to Telegramm.
The girl had a soft profile photo, nothing too revealing, but friendly and open.
She reached out with a short message:
“Hey… I saw your profile and thought you seemed nice 😊.”
She quickly steered the conversation toward intimacy:
- Asked if you were single.
- Said she liked your voice or photos.
- Then came the push to exchange private content: “Just for me… I won’t show anyone. Promise.”
She may have sent a suggestive photo first — maybe fake, maybe stolen.
But the moment you refused to send anything back or play along, things shifted.
Suddenly:
- She deleted messages.
- Her profile vanished.
- The entire chat thread on Telegram disappeared.
That’s a classic sign of a sextortion attempt that didn’t succeed.
🧠 Why scammers delete chats so fast
- They want to erase the evidence in case you report them.
- They use throwaway accounts, often automated or part of larger scam networks.
- If they see you’re cautious or suspicious — they abandon you immediately and move to the next target.
🚩 Signs of a Sextortion Attempt
- They rush intimacy after just a few messages
- Ask you to send private photos or go on video immediately
- Say “don’t worry, I won’t save anything”
- Flatter you in unnatural ways
- Use phrases like: “I trust you already… do you trust me?”
“It’s just between us…”
“Show me something first, I’ll send more later.”
Lesson for your readers:
Even if you get pulled into such a conversation:
You can still win by NOT responding to pressure.
If it feels off, stop talking, block, and report.
